I'm here to write because I should be doing work...

I've had a decently good week, considering the immense amount of work/stress.  Tonight we went the Sahara Grill in Philly for Nisha's birthday.  Good food and lots of fun...although Nisha claims I was only there to fulfill the white person quota...hahaha.  I love that girl.

I really should be working on this paper.  5-6 pages by 5 pm tomorrow.  It's 2 am right now and I have no pages...although I do have a LOT of quotes and a decent outline, so hopefully I can pop this baby right out.  I won't be sleeping tonight, I can see it.

I know my sisters are eagerly awaiting this entry...too bad I have nothing important to say to them.  OH...except I do have a message for Holly.  Is it alright if I have these two apples together if they are the same kind???  Can we mix like-kinds of fruit???
I guess I have to think of something to say to Jen now too...hmmm...

I'm in a fantastic mood today.  This weekend was amazing, with the shenanigans of Friday night (damn that Nisha, now I'm saying shenanigans all the time).  Then Saturday was a lot of fun @ Derek's.  Hanging out with my Bryn Mawr gals was definitely worth it, even though I'm sad I missed the PSU party.  I've just been so happy with the connections I've made since I've been back at school that I don't want to leave...and of course, there are interesting prospects with certain people that have kept me on my toes.  I've missed having crushes, and finding interesting people that I can get to know better.

But Rachel and I are going to watch MST3K today, so I must go and be attentive!  Have a good day everyone, I know I am!

Been a while since I updated...

My days have been consisting of pretty much the same thing.  Doing lots of work in the middle of spending lots of time with awesome people.  I love having new friends that you can hang out with all the time!  Definitely have made some amazing new friends since I've been back at school...it's made everything so much easier.

This weekend was also pretty good, considering the circumstances.  Friday night was a lot of work and a lot of driving, but it was definitely worth doing it...anything for my Wayslo And I'm just happy she got her closure.  Yesterday Mara and I went into Philly with the original intention of going to see the Dali exhibit, but we ended up just walking around, hanging out at a coffee shop, then going to eat sushi.  Not so eventful, but I love hanging out with Mara, so it was a lot of fun.  I even went to bed by midnight last night...that's freakin' crazy...I never do that, not even on weeknights.

And I bought some cute new shirts this weekend!  Yay for cute clothes!

I actually don't think I'm going home for much of Spring Break...it's March 4-14, and I already know I'm going to be here both weekends, so I'll probably end up just going home for 2 or 3 days to work.  I honestly don't want to go home that much...although I do miss my parents.  But I'm just really happy where I am.  We'll see...

By the way, I just have to mention that my sisters are much fun.

Valentine's Day was good.  Instead of the typical Valentine's Day celebration, me and my single girls decided we were going to have Girl Appreciation Day.  It was originally planned to be Man-Bashing Night, but we decided spending anymore time on them was going against our gameplan.  But it was definitely very successful, and a good time all around.

Lots of work to do today, and somehow I let Mara talk me into going to the gym today...we'll see how that goes.
